Moses Hacmon: Faces of Water – art installation which exposes the hidden world of water.

Paula Flores, Elsoldelrac, Mariel Abarca, T.P. Gilbert, Luis Alonso Sánchez, Carmina Leon – art installation bringing the flora of the Baja California Desert to the Mojave.

11pm               Like Out of Water: Aaron Sheppard enacts a costumed ocean-themed dramatic performance.  Audio equipment courtesy of Joshua Tree Music Store.

3.30pm:        Guided audio tour of Jackrabbit Homesteads led by Kim Stringfellow. The tour is self-driven with Kim leading and will end at the site of the High Desert Test

6pm:              Carmen Argote: A Vast Furniture –  presented by High Desert Test Sites and the MAK Center for Art and Architecture. See details HERE.

8.30pm:        Diane Best presents three moving image works (Ba-Ba, No Destination and Ubehebe) which immerse one in the vast landscape of the SouthWest, projected onto an outdoor screen with live band accompaniment.

2 – 6pm:       Letter of Marque Theater Company: Whet   Willy’s Short Wave Radio Show – presented by Harrison House Music, Arts and Ecology.

8.30pm:         Yi-Ping Hou and Marcos Lutyens + Jiayi Young and Shih-Wen Young – Yi Ping Hou presents a dance performance, and Marcos Lutyens MC’s,  in conjunction with the Youngs who work with Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts to map  messages from the audience onto a stellar matrix. Chris Hou (composer) and Ximena Valero (costume designer).
